We are a couple who make original handmade ceramics in our home studio in the Texas Hill Country.  The two of us are responsible for all the pieces you will see here.  We use traditional methods such as wheel throwing, hand-building and drape-forming.  Any molds or forms we use in these processes, we also make ourselves.  For the most part, Mark does the wheelthrowing and handbuilding while Clare does the firing, glazing and handpainting.  We collaborate on all design aspects and we both are equally represented in the finished work.

Basically, we start with a 25 block of  porcelain and let ourselves get creative from there.  After the pieces are made, they go thru a slow drying process, then a bisque firing before being glazed and embellished with mostly nature inspired designs.  They are then fired a final time at 2250 degrees ensuring that dinnerware is fully FUNctional being dishwasher and microwave safe.

Unique handmade work does not have 'item numbers', nor do we have 'stock-piles' of work.  But we do try to keep a ready supply of our most popular items.  Please email or message us on Facebook, using the images/descriptions to let us know what you are interested in.  It is not the quickest or most advanced way to place an order, but it does work!

We are frequently up to our elbows in clay or glaze in the studio or on the road doing shows, so please be patient if we don't respond immediately.   We appreciate and rely on your patronage to continue our livelihood and will do our best to fulfill your orders as promptly and joyfully as possible.

Please keep in mind any measurements here are approximations, colors are not always shown true online and all prices are subject to changes.

We accept all major credit cards and payments by PayPal.

We have always felt the best way to view our work is in person, which is why we travel to Art Shows.  There you are able to see and feel our work, it has a very nice tactile quality.  You will also get a chance to meet us!  I try to keep this list updated as it becomes confirmed.  For any more info, please contact us.
